· 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
God wants to encourage us today! As we get closer to what He has purposed to fulfill in the earth through of us individually and corporately and as we get closer in the realm of greater, greater glory, greater power, greater anointing—we are kicking up some spiritual dust!
Though many of you are (2 Corinthians 4:8-9) being troubled on every side, yet don’t be distressed; you may be perplexed, but do not despair; though you are being persecuted, but you are not forsaken; though you may feel like you are being cast down, but you are not destroyed; the enemy can’t destroy you, because you are blessed therefore the enemy cannot curse you nor what God has planned for your life!
Many of us are giving the devil a free ride. He is coming in the body of Christ riding on the backs of God’s people. Because many of us are spiritually asleep. It is time to not only arise and shine, but to get busy! The glory of the Lord is shining and will shine even more as we rise up and take our rightful places. So, get up and get busy. Remember, all who are here in the earth are on an assignment whether for God or for the devil. However, God is speaking to those who are called by His name. We must start to pull out our spiritual weapons! The Word of God says our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God to pull down strongholds (2 Cor 10:4-5).
The Body of Christ has been given power and authority over all the power of the enemy, (Luke 10:19) but many of us have not pulled out our spiritual weapons. Get your weapons out, dust them off. Put on the full armor of God! (Ephesians 6:10-18) It is time to wake up and walk in, use, apply and speak forth that we may stop the enemy in his tracks.
